Remember the old saying - there are two kinds of home inspectors, those who have been sued and those who will be.
It's the inspectors responsibility on how to best minimize their risk by performing their inspections to a high level of expertise, by following the SOP or better, consistently each and every time we do our job. Let's also not forget to be fair and impartial in the process.
That's why I personally see the value of proper training and education and raising standards to strive for and assure quality control for our profession. Respectfully, not every person is meant for this line of work.
