They called our office but my wife just laughed at the guy and told him there was no way in Hell I would be doing that for just the inspection much less mowing the grass. I don’t even like to mow my own grass. For that matter I wish I could find someone to mow my grass for $30.

Sounds to me like they are trying to prey on the newbie inspectors who will do darn near anything to feed his/her family. I’m sure they are making four times if not a lot more than what they are paying out for these inspections/mowings.

They are NOT home inspections. It is an entirely different profession.
It's called "Field Services" and I know some people making a killing doing this kind of stuff.
A couple of years ago I made over $10K doing Field Services in three months one or two days a week.
Drive a 300 mile loop doing occupancy verifications, pull up in front of a house, yep someones living there/nope no ones living there, take a picture, spend about 2 mintues inputting data, on to the next one, did about 20 a day for $30 bucks a piece.

It can pay for your proficiency ammunition.
I don't like grocery shopping. I dropped my wife off Saturday at the grocery store and did about 10 occupancy verifications within 3 miles of the grocery store while I was waiting for her to finish the shopping.
One hour (I dawdled waiting for her), $100.00, AND I avoided grocery shopping.
Unless you aren't very procient to start with, that should pay for a little bit of proficiency ammunition.
