Had a few bucks left from X-mas and was starting to look for an AFCI tester online. Anybody have a brand that they would recommend and why. I’m currently using a Suretest, but want to see what others think about different brands and models.

Mahalo in advance.

Hi Steve,

I use a suretest 61-165 myself, the only other one I can think of is made by fox:

BTW the Fox one can be bought of their own site for $150:00

I believe Greenlee were also looking into bringing one out but don't know if they have done so yet.

Regards

I use this one, the “Sure Test Circuit Analyzer”. And I believe it can be purchased through Nachi’s inspector mall.
