What are the requirements in PA to perform a wood destroying insect inspection? I was told that in order to perform this inspection on FHA homes, you need an applicators license. Does anyone know if this is true or where I can access information as to PA requirements? Thanks

Greg,

That’s strange. I get :

"NACHI Forum Index
Information

The topic or post you requested does not exist"

Bummer. I've been looking for info about that for hours with not much luck. I was very interested in reading that thread. Any suggestions ?

at Buyer?s expense, will obtain a written ?Wood- Destroying Insect Infestation Inspection Report? from a certified Pest Control Operator and will deliver it and all supporting documents and drawings provided by the Pest Control Operator to Seller. The report is to be made satisfactory to and in compliance with applicable laws, mortgage lenders, and/or Federal Insuring and Guaranteeing Agency requirements, if any. The inspection will include all readily visible and accessible areas of all structures on the Property

Good move, the WDI has been a bone of contention with many poor reports by home inspectors.
