CATS uses "House of Horrors" for a "Mock" Inspection for the students final (practical) exam!

Yes the House of Horrors is already in use.  This past Saturday students were given 3 hours (including time for a coffee break) to complete a written
inspection report of the house.

As the house and garage were empty it made it easy for all the attendees to work comfortably and safely; says Helen Jeffrey, President of Certified
Adult Training Services (CATS).  Helen went on to say that this project has been in the works for over 8 months and with the backing of InterNACHI, NACHI
Canada, InterNACHI and the sponsors, the project has finally come to fruition.

Future plans for this facility include:

Various roofing types and styles which will be built low to the ground so that all members can inspect them without ladders.

Other structures are slated to be built on the property as well as various aged homes being moved to the site this coming summer.

"This is an exciting project" said Bob Brown.  He goes on to say: "there are many plans on the table for this property, and this is only the first. The
depth and variety of these type of undertakings will depend on the response of the Membership and the amount of sponsorship.

Nick, Helen, Aimee and Bob, along with various other InterNACHI Members and Sponsors are looking forward to the Spring, when some serious work can begin
on this project.

Rumors have it that there is talk of a "Canadian Summerfest" which would include a series of mock inspections on the House of Horrors along with
field trips to other interesting properties around the area.
