The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) is pleased to announce a relationship with the Center for Environmental Research and Technology (CERT), wherein members of InterNACHI can receive special consideration in taking a new and innovative radon education program leading to certification by either the National Environmental Health Association’s National Radon Proficiency Program (NEHA-NRPP) or the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB).

 

With a steadily increasing interest of the consumer regarding the health risk posed by prolonged exposure to indoor radon as well as the impact on future resale, more and more buyers are requesting radon tests as part of the inspection process.  However, conducting a professional radon test and properly interpreting its results is not a trivial task.  It requires a sound knowledge basis, similar to other services offered by InterNACHI professionals.
