Defect:  Exreme corrosion and rust-through in interior of fireplace.  This can result in a deadly build-up of combustion gases such as carbon monoxide inside the home.  Recommend that the complete fireplace, draft system and flue be properly evaluated and repaired by a licensed professional before any use of the fireplace is attempted.
