Defect:  Improper roof shingle installation on roof at rake edge (location).  Shingles are installed in a non-standard method that creates a single continuous channel from apex of roof to eaves.  Water shedding design method is not present with this installation method.  Possible water intrusion under adjacent shingles and to roof decking.  Recommend evaluation and repair by licensed, qualified roofing contractor.
