Default What is it??
I found this in a return air duct. What is it and what does it do? It says something about salt utilization on the label.

It may have been for a chemical heat pump system at one time ( just a thought)

To me it is a ultra violet filter for air vent system.Please excuse my technical wording for I have just started really learning about home inspection and the techinicl wording.I could be wrong but to me by the picture Isee ultra violet.
