figured regardless of the house, the land has got to be worth that much, heck i've lived in the back of a pickup camper in worse places than that....house looks pretty good though!

Sometimes you can find the inspection sticker in the electrical panel or at the laundry drain. This one today is from 1989.

I have seen here the builders name and date carved into a roof support member, the oldest I have seen has been 1845.

As a quickie, many times the insulation in the attic has a certificate of installation stapled up there, somewhere. I have found that date to be fairly consistent with the reported age of the house. Not always present, though.

Original newsprint is the best guide. Be it behind your bathroom tiles of under your kitchen floor.
