Several times during the year ASHI members will ask me to join ASHI. I politely decline telling them the truth and that is ...... I had looked at the lack of benefits that ASHI offers and I see no reason to join.
I also tell them that if ASHI were to increase their benefits to their members that I would reconsider my position.
I also received the "annual written invitation" to join with the same results.
No hatred, no animosity...... Just a simple no thank you...

Many ASHI members have told me that they are tired of being ripped off by their National Association.
They tell me that it is all gimme, gimme, gimme!

They reap no INDIVIDUAL "rewards or benefits" from ASHI so they have a "Dual Membership" in other associations.

• ASHI promotes ASHI!

NACHI promotes NACHI and promotes their NACHI inspectors. To me that is a HUGE difference.

I say leave him alone and I believe that if he has not joined NACHI that he soon will.

Besides.... as an ASHI Inspector he has confirmed what we knew all along and that is ........ Dan Harris is nothing more than an "ASHI member" and carries no weight or does not speak for ASHI.
