Most all warranty companies cover light repairs and maintenance only. Any client who is offered one for free better read the fine print, which I advise them in every report. I do not offer them, and never will. Too many issues with the companies that project a bad image onto you.

For the past six years, home warranty service companies have been the No. 1 "worst graded" category by Angie's List members. In 2010, 54 percent of the reviews on these types of businesses received a D or F grade. Members misunderstanding or disagreeing with what their warranties cover and the quality of repair work are cited in the majority of complaints.

Some guy wrote an article about Home Warranty's here He (me) has had some "funny" experiences over the years
