Brick books!

This simple, yet imaginative – and very appropriate – feature can be found on the side of a library in England (sorry – forgot name of city). :slight_smile:

:mrgreen::mrgreen: LOL, Frank!!!

It’s the Internet! ¯_(ツ)_/¯

What a novel idea! :cool:

Ladies and gentlemen we have a winner;-)

Best comeback of the day!

That image will be cemented to my mind all day.
What blockhead thought of that ?
See what happens when you shower and forget to trowel off.

Thanks for sharing, it is amazing what a bit of creativity can bring to common building materials!

Nice to see something brick turned into art.

It did remind me though…
I picked up a book at a library sale; Handbook of Brick Masonry Construction, John A. Mulligan

Mine’s a first edition by McGraw-Hill Book Company 1942, but there may be more recent editions. Anyway, it’s a killer book on brick. Mainly brick, but also concrete, lime, mortar, weathering, efflorescence, and the list just goes on and on. Great brick reference book. Easily worth $24 plus shipping.
