This simple, yet imaginative – and very appropriate – feature can be found on the side of a library in England (sorry – forgot name of city).
Cool!
That’s cool
Kate, you are easily entertained. Now get back to work.
:mrgreen::mrgreen: LOL, Frank!!!

Ladies and gentlemen we have a winner;-)
Best comeback of the day!
That image will be cemented to my mind all day.

See what happens when you shower and forget to trowel off.
Thanks for sharing, it is amazing what a bit of creativity can bring to common building materials!
Nice to see something brick turned into art.
It did remind me though…
I picked up a book at a library sale; Handbook of Brick Masonry Construction, John A. Mulligan
Mine’s a first edition by McGraw-Hill Book Company 1942, but there may be more recent editions. Anyway, it’s a killer book on brick. Mainly brick, but also concrete, lime, mortar, weathering, efflorescence, and the list just goes on and on. Great brick reference book. Easily worth $24 plus shipping.
