Easier way to add specific people to your ignore, is to click on their name (in a post) and then click on "add this person to your ignore list". That way you don't have to try and figure out their user name.

OH yeah! Hey that works like a charm! Polls? Polls? What polls? We don't need any polls!

Now if there was only a way to put an entire thread on the "Ignore List" that would be great.

Lately, there is very little information worth even going to this website for.

Vendors, Mold, Air Quality, Wells....Crazy...

If folks inspected commercial buildings they wouldn't have to think about menial labor.....

Hey Dale, maybe you should lobby for a commercial inspections forum. I think that would be a good addition to the board.

Nope. I use mulch. Weeds can't grow in mulch, the snails hate it because it scrapes their little tummies and they then dessicate, and the ants also hate it because they have to travel sooooooooooo much further to get to where they want to go. By the time they get there, they are old and feeble and die on the return trip.

It's never a slow growing season in my yard. I specialize in cactus, succulents, and native vegetation. My African tulip tree started blooming in June and is still going strong. The bougainvilleas bloom year-round, and the winter succulents are blooming, which means the hummingbirds are just going wild. And the ice plant is just now entering its winter bloom cycle.

so do mine, but they require my spanish friends to continually clean the falling blossoms....

My orange and grapefruits are almost ripe, they will start blossoming again soon. Makes the whole yard smell real nice....

That's a great idea, James. Put it in with the tech forums...

I like to leave mine on the ground, creating a beautiful mosaic of purple, red, pink, orange, and yellow/gold.

I think there are way to may wrapped up in Mold, and other low paying alternatives to income.....

If folks were interested you think there would be more questions.

I receive a lot of emails from people here though, might be a good idea.

I just cannot agree with the falsehood regarding using ASTM standards, and I don't like to argue...

So Dale... If i'm comfortable inspecting homes, how difficult is it to make the jump into commercial inspection and what's a good way to get started?

Fly to Scottsdale any week you want, you can go with me to a couple....

I'll show you how I got the business started, who my regular clients are, what they want in a report, how they want the report formated (not astm), how to charge, and how to keep doing maintenance inspections for every property you inspect, which creates very good revenue with little work....

For example, I inspected a roof this morning on a commercial building I inspected last year, I charged $625.00 for a report of this years condition, if I thought it would need service soon, or if it looks like it should be alright for another year without any service. Lots of pictures, few paragraphs of "Today's" condition, bingo...easy money.

And they appreciate knowing the roof isn't falling to pieces (yet)....
