Ralph thats my point........why be part of something when you can LEAD something. Instead of you making the Realtors assocaiton look good why not make YOUR company and organization look good?

Talk to Gary Johnson, Blaine Wiley, John Bowman or Paul Sabados to get an update on the foundation and see what, if anything, can be done to re-vitalize it.

I live across the street from my local food bank. It kinda makes you think when you see a long line of people waiting to get food in the morning. |

When I do write it down, I search my Quickbooks software. Majority of the time they are not there. I only have the buyers' names on file, not their friends, relatives etc.

Once again.....I guess I just think different...some people give and that makes them feel good.........I want to BUILD something...MAKE something......that many will benefit from. Just me and my ideals is all. I do not think anything of you. We just think differntly...You may look at a car and say wow........I look at the same car and think of 100 ways it could be better.....Just my personality...does not mean its right, just different.
Every single day (work day) I do 1 think to make my report better. I have been doing this for over 10 years. Add this tweak that. I never think something is GREAT, I may thibk its good, but can always be better...so when you say "Why re-invent the wheel" I think because the wheel can be better" Once again, some are meant to lead and some are meant to follow......the choice is yours. |

James, what is the amount you give to a charity in their name? Just asking, not to be nosey...whatever the amount, can you ask that person while you are on the job. Maybe give them 5 choices and just keep track of it? Like have a notebook and put Monday $20 Red Cross $10 Hope Hospice Tuesday..........then keep going til the end of the week and then send the checks out? Ask you accountant as to what and how much is tax deductible. Will this work? If not lets figure out a fix.

$20.00, but I only give the money when they refer somebody to me. I guess when I explain to them what is in their inspection binder I can include something like a referral rewards charity cards. To be quite honest with you I have never really asked a customer directly to refer me except when they brag about my inspection and then I just tell them not to keep me secret.
