NACHI Du-Ka Chapter to hold first Chapter meeting of the year!

NACHI Du-Ka Chapter to hold the next Chapter meeting in the New Year at the "HOUSE of HORRORS". At 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2006

NACHI Du-Ka will be holding "Mock" inspection at the House of Horrors.
PRE-REGISTRATIONS are required! You can register by phone, fax, or mail. So wear your WARM clothes, bring your inside shoes, your camera and inspection tools.

The facility will be open to all from 10 a.m. through to 4 p.m.

The cost for NACHI Members is $15.00. For Non-members $30.00. All proceeds will go to the NACHI House of Horrors and be used for future developments.

You will be asked to sign an insurance wavier prior to entering onto the property. Extension ladders etc., will not be permitted. As this is winter no one will be permitted on any of the roofs. However attic access is permitted.

You will be entering these facilities at your own risk. Pictures will be taken of the inspection and the inspection procedure and published. Names of the attendees might also be used for promotional purposes. If you do not want your name to be mentioned please inform us (in writing) PRIOR to, or when registering.

Refreshments will be provided. Bring a friend! Bring a Realtor! Bring a Broker. Let them see how a proper Inspection is conducted!
For all newer Inspectors, this mock inspection will count towards your membership fulfillment requirements.

Originating from the WEST:

• Take highway 401 East through the city of Oshawa and exit at Courtice Road (previous exit is Harmony Road) From the off-ramp, turn left to head north, pass under the bridge to the first set of lights (Courtice & Baseline Roads) Turn left at this light and head west along Baseline Road (slight back-track but very easy to follow) Take Baseline Road to where it ends at Prestonvale Road (north bound road) – DO NOT TURN!
• Continue straight ahead onto the House of Horrors property (house number is 1490)

Originating from the EAST:

• Take highway 401 West through Clarington (past Holt Road exit) to the Courtice Road exit From the off-ramp, turn right to head north, to the first set of lights (Courtice & Baseline Roads) Turn left at this light and head west along Baseline Road (slight back-track but very easy to follow) Take Baseline Road to where it ends at Prestonvale Road (north bound road) – DO NOT TURN!
• Continue straight ahead onto the House of Horrors property (house number is 1490)

Originating from the NORTH/West:

• Take Simcoe Street south (through Oshawa) to highway 401 and follow the rest of the directions for coming in from the WEST.

Originating from the NORTH/East:

• Take highway 57 (Waverly Road, Bowmanville) south to highway 401 and follow the rest of the directions for coming in from the EAST.
• OR, if heading south on highway 35/115, follow westbound highway 401 to Courtice Road
