Default Electrical conductor exposed

Any help would be appreciated. Anyone know the maximum length insulation can be removed or visible conductor without insulation on conductor servicing a breaker.

How about a pic? There really is no rule as to how much you can't strip. Just a little common sense. As long as it doesn't look like it might come into contact with something...no harm will come from it.
