Default false bathroom fan checking

A lot of new construction around here has bathroom fans that discharge into the insulation somewhere, hard to find and prove so today I turned on the showers on fairly hot with the fans running in 2 baths. Went back in after just 2 minutes and it was a steam room.

Even the cheapest fans available will prevent that!

thinking about getting some of those smoke sticks now for the houses with no hot water.

Try a 5 piece of toilet paper if it has a good exhaust it should hold it up.

I use the toilet paper also. I also run the fans for the attic inspection to make them easier to locate if buried.
