Dale,

Your Stinger needs new batteries...remember to let rechargeable batteries fully discharge before recharging for a prolong life.

Just bought some new rechargeable batteries on e-bay for $15.

ET voilà, I saw the light!

I was going to throw down 20 bucks and see for myself how bright this light is.

The shipping charges stopped me from clicking the "SUBMIT" button.

Dale, with the stinger charged up, remove the battery and measure the voltage to the 10ths of a volt and post it.

Hi Dave,

I'll take some pictures tonight, you wouldn't believe the difference in these L.E.D's compared to the Stingers, there is absolutely no comparison...and the Sportsman Xtreme weighs about a third of what the Stinger does, I have a flashlight holder on my belt, can't even tell the flashlight is hanging there, and it's shorter than the Stinger too Dave.

I bought a Nickel Chromium Battery Charger which hasn't arrived yet along with 8 Rechargeable Batteries, C size the Xtreme takes, 3 batteries. I just bought a four pack of junk Walgreen Pharmacy Batteries yesterday and put them in the flashlight, the good Nickel Chromiums will probably be even better than the store brand batteries I bought for now to use the light yesterday at an inspection.

I'm certainly not in the Flashlight business to sell these, just mentioning how great the flashlight is if anyone wants one hell of a bright light without the circles in the light the Stinger has when shining on an object and the cost was $27.00 shipping included, I didn't know Ace Hardware had the lights when Bob first mentioned them, so I got it from Rayovac.com.

I had the stinger and xtreme in an attic yesterday and the difference is amazing.

Hi Bruce...I have better things to do actually, I'm just mentioning the lights are twice what a Stinger is, nothing more, nothing less, I'm not selling these Flashlights, just giving folks some information about this incredible L.E.D Light if they want a good bright light to do their inspections with.

My stinger is fully charged, and I have been using it for a while, it's a good flashlight, but if you want a better one, buy the Rayovac 4 watt Xtream L.E.D.

I'm looking forward to the PICS.

I'm in the market for a light, strong small flashlight. I've been a MAG user for years. I'm not impressed with the newer LED MAG, so I want better.

Post the night images when you can?

I bought a 1 watt flashlight a couple months ago and never picked up my mag light again. You can slip these in your back pocket and don't have to worry about your pants sliding off your butt from the weight of a heavy flashlight.

That sits in the case at ACE next to the one we are talking about .
45 lumen s compared to 145 I think.

Get the more powerful one as it is about the same size I seem to recall.

I got mine at Menard's. Probably cheaper than Ace. I'll check out the 4 watt next time.

Candle power vs lumen's, I found this quite illuminating myself.

Lumens it is! Candlepower is a marketing scheme.

Odd Dale as the Ultra Stinger is rated at 295 lumens, something is not quite right with your light. But I will be more than happy to take it off your hands my friend.

Maybe its the color of the Ray O Vac light itself that makes it appear brighter.

I want a night test with images.
