Cheap premiums...like cheap inspection fees....do not necessarily reflect a good service, as I am sure you will agree. Hopefully there are more benefits, in terms of security and support when a claim is filed, than just the cheap premium.

Can you ask anyone who has ever had a claim to comment on their experiences with this carrier?

Always deal with a local company. That way you can go there and stick your foot up someones azz if need be.

No. I am talking about an E&O insurer who markets itself, through others, as being the "cheapest".

The value of an insurance policy is not derived from the cost of the policy but from the extent of the coverage. How long have they been in business and what is their record concerning the defense of or payment of claims? Do they settle every claim for the amount of the deductible or do they pay lawyers to defend clients from worthless claims? Do they even have a record of service (for without one, how do they know how much to charge?)?

From our personal experiences, we know that the cheapest inspector in town...and uses that for marketing purposes....doesn't last very long. Nor does he provide a premium service.
