Many builders will require $1,000,000 before they'll let you on the property to inspect the home they built/own.

I looked at getting 300k worth here in Florida. The premium was just over a thousand dollars.

Wow Greg, that is a pricey GL policy. If you are buying E&O, maybe just get the GL for free:

Free General Liability insurance.
