Since I'm not in FL, I looked up form 1802. It's definitely "B" Non-Hip.

If the gable is more then 10% of the roof perimeter you must mark it as non-hip. You were the one on site so it is very hard to tell from a couple of pictures. Hope this answers your question. I do not do wind mitigation here in canada but have taken a couple of courses for knowledge sakes. I think you need to look back on your course as it was one of the first things I learn't. Not getting on you, just explaining the obvious.

There is a great meeting today in Gainsville where they are going over Wind Mitigation Inspections. It would have helped you greatly.
