The Illinois State Chapter of InterNACHI will be proctoring tests

Greetings, Inspectors:

The Illinois State Chapter of InterNACHI will be proctoring tests for State of Illinois CE credit. This credit is required to maintain your home inspector license.

If you have taken an InterNACHI (online /website exam) and you wish to obtain State of Illinois credit towards your license, you will need to have a proctored test score sent to the IDFPR. (Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation).

In other words, you will need to have a real live person watch you take the test; he will then send it to be scored and reported to the IDFPR.

Date: Saturday, June 12, @ 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Location: Caribou Coffee, 90 East Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect, Il (847) 259-2080

I suggest purchasing a beverage during your visit.

Fees:
INACHI members $25.00 for the first test and $5.00 for every test thereafter. Take two tests, that's $30.00. Three tests, that's $35.00... and so on.

RSVP with your name and each course(s) you want proctored.

- your association ID (if you have one) and
- your INACHI association membership number

If you are unable to attend this event, there will be additional proctoring events scheduled in the Chicago area in late July.
REMEMBER: Your CEU credits must be submitted to the IDFPR before the license renewal date in November 2010.

Hi Jeff,

Due to the many varied locations of inspectors, I try and make it "more convenient" with respect to test proctoring locations BUT this is not always possible.. The next location may be more "south" of you.

You will be notified via email if you have taken an InterNACHI online exam by us, (Illinois state chapter) . If you are "waiting" to take an online exam thinking we are heading in your direction, then you are mistaken.

The Illinois State chapter of InterNACHI does have set locations to proctor tests and wait for inspectors to take online exams. You take the online exam first and then we can figure out where tests can be proctored.

I've got no problem with traveling, especially for $25. I was just curious about Mt Prospect, which is still convenient for me (35-45 minutes travel).
