Yeah right! I tried that a few times and would rather staple my nuts to the floor and make a run for the door, than attend the meetings. But it's good to know that several of the "weeds" at the meetings are no longer in business, and I am.

Once I am "association" free (both of them), I won't need to worry about the politics of it all. Actually I don't worry about it now, but it won't cost me several hundred dollars a year either.

It is a lot of money to see people come here and bash each other and go on and on about politics and religion. I may have to rethink renewal also.

$800 is cheap compared to the last number I heard for a licensing fee that was being proposed for Missouri ($1400.00). I imagine it will be bigger now that there are less inspectors than there was before. Sad but true.
