Default It's not champagne and caviar, but

I came into a home yesterday and found this on the kitchen counter, I felt like Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, no milk but the water was cold and the cookies were good. A nice appreciation for a home inspector!

Ahhhh, yes.....The old seller's "Ex Lax chip cookies with the water turned off at the street in order to get the inspector in and out in a hurry trick".

Of course, you didn't eat them, did you?

In Illinois there's usually an envelope under the plate.

Especially if the seller works for the state.

Agreed, Steve. The nice people tend to leave a nice home as well. Although I wouldn't pig out till the inspection was done.
