It all depends on clientel. I find it difficult to wear a suit in a crawl or attic for that matter. My pickup truck is not real impressive (2000 dodge) my attitude is serious and professional, but not intimidating. I start out neat and clean in the morning, but after the first 80 - 100 year old house with a dirt floor cellar I could use a brush and press (pretty much all over). In the world view we are all important and our mere existence effects all life. There has been a lot of Grand Caravans in use by our HI's. Drop 3rd seat and tons of room. Extension Ladders on top - Little Giant or Tele-Steps inside.
However with the gas crunch, more of our guys are going to economy. In the past 6 months 4 of our HI's have gone to Chevy HHR's and 3 to Toyota Scion XB's. |

I think this is a great concept if I were to do it over, if anyone wants to buy a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser I would consider it.

I recently traded in my Nissan Frontier (less than a year old / 13 mpg) and got a Nissan Rogue (24 mpg). Great car and plenty of room for the ladder and tools.

This is what I use guys; it allows me to sit higher than most vehicles, so I can see wildlife on the way to my cottage!!
Seriously, it’s a billboard, a moving billboard. I use one ladder, a featherlite ladder that has four folding sections that open up to 12 feet and rated for 250 pounds. Only cost $149.95. They have a nother model that open up to 16' and costs $249.95. For me anything over 12' hgh I do not want to climb on. My saftey is worth more them an inspection fee. The 12' model when folded in half (6' high)works great for attic access.
It's stable, reasonable cost, folds down to a compact 3' x 1' x 1.5', and very light making it easy the carry into the house and upstairs. Works great for me. All m equipment including the ladder fit behind the back seat of a Ford Focus wagon and at 36 MPG (Imp Gal) 45 MPG (US Gal). The money stays in my pocket instead of the gas company's. I have had mine 2 years, people always wonder where the ladder is and are also suprised when a 6'3" inspector gets out of it. It catches peoples attention and they usually remember. The white F-250 with the V-10 sitting next to it has been there a while. I have fun driving the Mini and get 33 mpg.
