Anyway, you are correct on the stem cell thing, but why not let them try?
It's an important moral issue Todd.
Where do you think life begins?

It's all about funding from the government and little more than that.

Sad to see people disrespect the topic at hand. Great thread getting abused by people talking smack about jack.

If you want to rant take in a different thread oh I don't know um how about the '' Not For Everyone'' Thread?

A few people roam these boards that have nothing better to do than talk garbage. I am cool with opinions on subject matter at hand but to rabbit trail into personal pointless opinions that do not even belong in the thread at hand?

I sure many have said this type message to those who decide to display this type behavior many times over and over, as I have seen through the years here.

I read through the threads regularly and seen many disrespectful people come in and out of here. It will never stop but it would be nice for a change.

To all those who offer respectful insight, wisdom, understanding, knowledge and much more to the inspection world at this message board, I personally thank you. There has been several things I have applied to my home inspection business that has made me a better inspector over all because of you guys.

Ray

Raymond I would agree with you but also remind you that a non-member cannot post in the members only area such as "not for everyone". So when a non-member starts talking jack he is likely to get responded to.

Been doing that for three years till the slowdown here. I've backed off a lot. 3/day makes for a 14 hour day with drive time added. Crazy

You just stated how you can do that...2-1/2 to 3 hours per inspection ( 3 hours is either a large house or a piece of sh*t). when you leave , you hand them the report, collect the check, and go on to the next.

I agree that the market is way down from what it was a few years ago, but the inspections are still there if your reputation is good and your reports are easy to read and given on the spot. Pictures are for extremely unusual situations, and are RARELY needed (if they are requested, I hope you're charging for your time). When I leave a site, the report is fully explained to the customer and handed to them, the check is handed to me, and we both go on our way (in my mind that inspection is deleted and I go on to the next). If questions (rarely) arise, I look at the report to answer the question. If they have to wait until you get home...so be it.

My business has slowed since the market has slowed, but I am still out inspecting every day and easily making ends meet.

My ***** is that I have to go in for back surgery in a few weeks and I must admit I'm a little concerned about keeping regular customers calling, but I'll work it out...I always do...so can you!

Steve,

I'm a bit slow too, but I'm still getting by.

I'm sorry to hear of your back surgery. If things get real bad and you get laid up for a few days/weeks, where you can't keep up with your consumer demand, simply have a NACHI member (from your area) take on those home inspections. I had to rely on NACHI members at one time. It beats losing the prospect to your competition.

I perform between 435 and 460 inspections a year with of course the summer time about killing me. Now in December I am averaging 8-9 a week
