I am a home inspector on the Eastern Shore of MD, who is looking into being certified to inspect mold and asbestos. My question is…Where would be the best place to get a certification for this and what lab do you usually use to send samples to?

I don’t do mold over here in baltimore but would recommend looking at EMSL of beltsville md for training and testing.

What part of the shore?

I can’t stress enough that you should also take InterNACHI’s Moisture Intrusion Inspection course.

I can’t stress enough that you should also take InterNACHI’s Moisture Intrusion Inspection course.

Don’t stop there. Take every mold, moisture, and IAQ course InterNACHI offers.

It is impossible to learn too much, and when it comes to mold, there is much to learn
