I started in the trades in the mid 50's working for a contractor in high school, continued into the 60's to help pay for college. After college Was a sales rep. for several years selling building supplies/materials to lumber yards and hardware stores.

Started remodeling and flipping homes in the mid 60's, went into general construction as a contractor 1968.

Sorry, home inspection was not around in those days. City building inspection, never got red tagged.

Now, was it that I did a good job, or the city building inspector didn't do a good job. Beats me, but the houses are still standing, and see that one of them just went on the market for 1.3 million. Wish now I had kept it!!
