Hi Paige... thanks for jumping in!

Me no bully. I am just voicing my opinion on what I believe to be the facts. The OP asked for opinions, and that is what I am offering.

Thank you for posting a few "cartoonish Logo's". I could not think of any, and I do recognize some of them when shown. That was all I was asking Bob to do.

"Am I being to critical"(ironic, huh) or can I assume you think the most respected SEO expert on this forum has no taste.

He uses some silly little green guy.

Wrong again, Bob. My Logo is a graphic, as the majority of corporate Logo's are.

Maybe you should reread your own posted definition, and try to better comprehend the definition of cartoon.

Jeff I do not feel like wasting time cutting and pasting examples just to satisfy your silly question that you could have just maned up to with a Ooops "my bad".

I figured you would just get a little cartoon smoke coming from both ears ,and figure it out ,as you posted one cartoon example after another.

Darn, you hate admitting when you are wrong.
Please just go back to spell checking me

I am the first one to admit my mistakes, and have done so in the past on this MB.

You were just like this when I said Automobiles would replace horses some day.

You need to go fight it out with Mike and the J.B's over in the Religion threads because I sure can't make you a believer.

By the way I bet we can all remember Kens Logo.
(hope he's OK)

A cartoon seems a little risky. What are you trying to portray to the audience? An inspection is very serious business for those trying to make a major decision... It will be memorable though.. Why don't you ask some R.E. agents?

George, you are not required to indicate what level of inspection license you have here just your license number and that doesn't have to be on your logo. The license number has to be on advertising you do, of which the logo may be one of many items.

In other words the advice you received went in one ear and out the other. Don't ask next time should be the new motto.

Lighten up man....just because I didn't rush out and have the logo changed doesn't mean I didn't consider your advice. I did...I've read each and every post and considered them all.
Thanks to everyone who commented! I'm still processing everything.

I'm wondering if the same people who are so set against a cartoonish logo are the same people who think you should show up for an inspection dressed like you was going to church or a play???

Basically George, a logo portrays on who and what the company is. My opinion is, if a professional business, your logo should reflect that. I receive complements on my logo all the time. Heck, I even won a "best logo" contest here at Nachi a couple of years ago, (with a huge prize), so you know there was a lot of competition. So appearently, that is not just my opinion.

Good luck to you, and hope you develop the logo that you are happy with.

Jeff
