I am a new member of NACHI and starting a home inspection business. For information, I have been in residential construction for over 20 years and have been inspecting homes for builders as a Quality Control Manager for the past 9 years. I also have a residential Contractor's license although it is inactive.

I am wondering if anyone knows if the limit of liability clauses in the inspection agreements have held up in court in Florida.

If they have, is E&O insurance needed?

Also, does anyone know of an attorney in the Orlando area that has experience dealing with home inspection issues.

Thanks
