For almost a year, inflammatory and slanderous posts by expelled members have been posted to this board. Some directed toward me...some Farsetta...some Mario...and some others. They have been extremely disgusting and provacative....and easily Googled.

I can show you several hundred email exchanges where several members have gone to Nick and begged to have these posts edited...to no avail. Nick adamantly refused, under any circumstances, from even appearing to moderate the board.

In the last couple of weeks....we have learned of Nick's use of convicted felons to shake down vendors for up front money....the costs to be passed on to members who buy the products.

We learned of a "preferred vendor" scheme where vendors pay to play....something declared unethical and forbidden for members of NACHI, but required of vendors.

After Nick's embarassing and fruitless attempts to convince the world he did the right thing.......the threads disappeared. Entire threads, where he had denied hundreds of requests to simply remove references to phony criminal records made against members.

Then...suddenly out of a new and unexplained concern for the victims of Ray Wand....Nick expresses the need for 12...not one or two....but 12 moderators.

While threads embarassing to Nick disappear over night, loyal and admired members like Mario has to beg like pauper for Nick to delete false statements that have caused him public harm and humiliation....and Nick has yet to do it, still. Many of these slanderous posts remain in spite of the many legitimate requests to delete them.

And you think...you really think....that Nick's sudden change of heart for moderators has to do with the posts that (even at this writing) he has denied repeated requests to delete?

Dear Mr. Wand:

The Registrar of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) has notified the Appeals Committee that you have not complied with the recommendations /requirements as stated in the Appeals Committee Document - 2008-01 (OAHI Appeals Case 2008-01).

As stated in your letter from the OAHI Secretary "The decision rendered by the Appeals Committee is deemed to be the decision of the Board of Directors and shall be final, binding and conclusive of all matters dealt with as per by-law 15.6.

Therefore, your membership was terminated on October 6, 2008 as you did not comply.

We wish you the best in the future endeavors.

This proves deleting threads will not work. Apparently it's quite easy to sign in again using a different alias. One person could have multiple names at any given time.

Kind of like our friend Ruth in St.Louis. Note, I brought her tactic to Nachi's attention over a year ago, and nothing has happened. Even her claiming on her website that her inspectors or licensed by NACHI in a State that requires no licensing, obviously to attract business in Illinois, which does require licensing.

What would work would be if members refused to respond to posts from alias usernames such as "Pia Pium" or use the ignore feature.

Even more incredulous is that members who cannot demonstrate enough self control to do this are eagerly volunteering to be Moderators.
