I get several like it. I just hang up. some even disguise the caller ID #. its quite annoying

Ahhh, Rachel at Card Services, my wife's best friend - LOL. She tells me horror stories of her often. Rachel seems to bring out the "best" in my wife. I've heard nicer things about Hitler. And the colorful language that she uses to describe Rachel's timely solicitations, well, let's just say a drunken sailor would be proud.

She told me everytime she calls she reports it to https://www.donotcall.gov/

Says it seems to be helping.

Another reason it pays to have someone answer the phones for you (hope she doesn't see this or she may quit and go work somewhere else).

Rachel has only called my home phone so far.

I have tried to talk to her. She seems to have only 1 topic on her mind.
I asked her out to dinner she never told me her answer.

Five companies behind the 'Rachel from Cardholder Services' scheme and other credit card robocalls were shut down Thursday, the FTC announced. The FTC estimated that the companies had defrauded customers out of more than $30 million by promising to lower credit card interest rates in exchange for an up-front fee.

When the bill comes I pay it.

I wonder how many here can say the same.

I was joking, but way to be ahead of your time there Dave Ramsey! That's quite an accomplishment- I was close to the same all my life until I got stuck on a construction deal and had to work it down from $90k. Took a couple years back then...today I only use them where there is a risk of the card number being stolen like online and pay them off immediately.

I found that even those "Special deals" at 4.99% APR managed to figure out a way to charge 20%.
