I keep logging in and it tells me that I am logged in. But then tells me this is my first visit and need to check the Faq page. But at the same time that I am not logged in.

Try clearing the cache in your browser. Once you do, view the faq page and see if that clears it up.

I didn't read it I was trying to add a blog and an error message came up that I had to change it so that there were 1000 characters or less.
