Recallchek is a company that does just that. They check for recalls. You log the make and model numbers of all the appliances you find during the inspection on Recallcheks website and they email you and your client if there are any and where they can be fixed. My clients love this service.

The cost is $9. If they go to your web sit its $29.95. Recallchek will than pay you $20.
