Default Response to Wills deck fastner "Catch"

Obviously those are the incorrect screws for that application. But for a little FYI, Simpson now has screws available for their products.

Hope this helps!

Well, that screws up everything for me. How do I know what type of screw the contractor used???

We should have a pretty good idea that they are not proper if they are phillips, Robertsons or slotted type screws.

If you look at the pictures I posted, it does not these type of screws. Nos screw driver type, just plain Phillip's heads, galvanized.

Yes, I know. That's why I stated they were the "incorrect" screws. I was just letting folks know, that there are screws available.
