Default Sellers say the darndest things
I had a house with an upstairs bedroom with no emergency egress.
The seller says they do have egress!! You just go through the door in the back of the closet, through the attic and out the (undersized) window! They even have a portable ladder there!

This house also had a FPE stab-lok panel!

At least they have made a plan. Would that everyone would devise an exit strategy for use in times of emergency.
