Default smallest house in Brooklyn

You have to know this part of Brooklyn to appreciate this!

This house, located near the intersection of Ave T and Van Sicklen is believed to be Brooklyn's smallest house. Occupying what used to be a driveway, it's a one bedroom, one bathroom home that sits on a parcel of land 7.25 feet (2.2 meters) wide and 113.67 feet (34.6 meters) long and has an interior area of just under 300 square feet (under 28

square meters).

Here's the living room, looking towards the front of the house

Here's the living room again, looking towards the back .....

Here's the kitchen. Note that despite the small space,
they've managed to fit a washer and dryer into the place.

Here's the bedroom. It comes with a Murphy bed,
which is a necessity in such a space. This is what it
looks like with the Murphy Bed down

And here the bedroom with the Murphy Bed retracted:

You also get some patio space out back.
Here it is, looking towards the front of the house:

Convert that backyard into a driveway ad you'd have a place to park!

Eh hmmm, Is Brooklyn in Toronto?
I thought I had seen this before.

The Story Behind Toronto’s Little House

April 11, 2008

It looks like a child’s playhouse, but it’s not. Believe it or not, fully grown people actually live there. My guess is that they aren’t too tall and they don’t weigh very much. MORE

Just for your information guy's, there are many of these little houses located in the general area. Next time I'm in that area I will take some photos of some of these miniatures and post them.
