Let us each pause when we can today to remember those who paid with their lives on this day 7 years ago, and in the efforts to stop the slide toward chaos ever since.

I think especially of those whose commitment to help others overrode their instinct to run and save their own life.

Rest in peace. May the lessons you paid so dearly for not be forgotten.

Thanks John, I've been thinking about this all day today, some days you will remember for ever, some you wished never happened.

For most of us 7 years has passed in the blink of an eye, for way to many others it has been an eternity.
