TV Report on Inspectors in MN

This story ran on the local CBS affiliate here in Minneapolis recently. The station hired one inspector and then compared the reports of two other inspectors on the same house. The main gripe I had with the TV story was the recommendation for an ASHI inspector. Although they did a good job on posting several of the associations along with entrance requirements and continuing education on the blog page, although they left out the fact that ASHI lacks an entrance exam.

This is a common occurrence with ASHI chapters who are pushing for legislation. They do it everywhere.
