Default Water Tank Lines

Anybody know if these water lines are acceptable ?

The flexible connectors? Yes. Check the isle at Lowes or Home Depot.

I believe they are required in some areas that are prone to earthquakes, but I could be wrong. Even though we did have a rare earth quake here last year. Everyone I knew was freaked out, dont get too many of those here in IL. I am just wondering about the Aluminum to copper connection, or are they designed to be corrosion resistant???

I installed similar piping at my own water heater. If I remember correctly, they have a dielectric union integrated into the pipe.
