Default Well Water testing
I am fairly new in home inspection and have had some requests for water testing. I have in the past referred the agent to county water testing. Can I take samples myself or do I need a certification. Where would I send samples.

Robert we take a sample and send it to a lab in oak ridge TN

Wayne, Do you order sampling supplies from the lab. Is there a set sampling procedure.

yes we get the sample bottle , run the water for 10 minutes , take the sample fill out the form send it in.

Email Joe Farsetta. He has written a course, available on CD, for well inspection and water sampling. It tells you all you need to know.
