Thumbs up Wow, thanx to all nachi members

I just received a phone call from an inspection I did in December 2008 and the client said I failed to inspect the master bath shower head. It recently flooded the downstairs bedroom. The plumber said it was just glued to the wall and not connected. I checked my report and it shows a nice spray of water coming out of the shower head. FUNCTIONING AS INTENDED!!!!!! I did note that it was leaking at the shower head connection and she said that she fixed it herself by tightening it. hmmmm???

I picked the idea of photographing items inspected "functioning as intended" from fellow members right here on the MB. I include furnace flame, water heater flame, shower heads, jetted tubs, faucets, etc.

THANX InterNACHI

Works every time!! I had a realtor email me regarding the broken water heater that I missed. I reviewed the report and low and behold, I took a picture of my thermometer. Yep..110 degrees...working at time of inspection!! We now think the heater broke when they ran the hot water after the water had been turned off by the builder. The builder repaired it at no charge.

It is the "dang fine looking specimen" part that disqualifies you.

A picture is worth a thousand words and in our business maybe a $1000 and a good reputation.

Is this association OK? I am new and I can't seem to get answers. I got here from Kaplan and asked what that means towards my membership. I have completed courses that should apply.

No answer. I asked if my Commercial course would apply. No answer.

My current thoughts are Internachi is ignoring me and I need a new association. Am I off base here? And if I am, why no response?

Being new, I don't know...... Is it too much to ask for information here? If it is, I should move on to one of the other Associations.

Ken

This association is great, where is your question? What did you ask?
