Russ S, I didn't take it seriously that you'd throw me in the river but you made the comment about WA inspectors coming over the border so apparently a business concern. Its a free market but I also believe in helping your fellow man.

OK, Peter, forget about it.
Apparently you haven't seen enough of my posts to realize it was a joke for all concerned, not just you. Feel free to put me on your blocked post list, if you'd like. |

And I really don't give a rat's *** who crosses which state border, to make it as plain as possible

Ok Russ, I took it too seriously apparently so thats better than being a true statement from you so all is well. Glad to hear you're at higher connection speeds.

Russel, that was accomplished months ago. Connection speed was not a concern! I do have my priorities.
I have yours and the one that was posted afterwards, too! |

I drive up to 180 miles one way...no extra charge.
If I didn't they'd get someone closer for a better price and I do what I can to get whatever work I can. |

Yep, me too. Even if it cuts in heavily from fuel. It spreads the word around the state, and shows that I am hard-working. The last one was three hours each way. Makes for a long day though.

I agree with RR's theory about travel - nothing is too far if I can make a day of it.
I have did one near Penn State (about 3.5 hours) last year....and darn if it just didn't coincide with a PSU home game! I made about $300 (after gas) to watch a football game. Just have to be creative about it.... For Wendy and Kevin (where did you go Kevin - I have missed your posts around here), I agree that you have to go to the work, especially in a tough maket. Any money made for an inspection is better than no money made to sit home - plus you now have a client, a seller, and at least one realtor to market to!! |

No limit...
Have ladder, will travel - Anywhere! If I have to fly there, I rent everything and still do the job. I went to Kona, Hawaii for a job this year, client arranged the flight, hotel, rental car and a tour of the volcano before flying home the next day. Even had the realtors husband bring a ladder over to the 5000'sf vacant beach in King Kamahamaha Estates. I've done the same thing in Vero Beach, Baltimore, Las Vegas, Mexico and Whistler Canada over the years. |
