I would say 2006 was a very strange year. The world seems very unsettled and it is quite frankly unsettling to me too. I woke up at 5 am....warmed up some lasagna and watched the news. It appears that the world in general is on edge. So here are a few things I have learned this year...I hope you all have learned a lot this year too.
1.)I have learned kids grown up and move out way too fast. Love them more than life itself while you can. They move away way too soon. And it is not always in the same state. And it takes adjustment.
2.) Don't watch too much news. It will only unsettle you more. Watch only the minumum to keep currant. I don't care to watch some idiot hang even if he may have had it coming.
3.)Continue to do what you love in your career. But never be afraid to move on as there is much to learn and enjoy in this big wide world of ours.
4.)And last but not least I learned that there is no perfect place to live, but rain floods and wind storms are getting old and maybe just maybe
we have to listen to our senses. (I think Keith was the one who mentioned about our senses.) Yep we need to be in tune with ourselves and listen. If you are unhappy in the clouds...follow the sun. But mostly follow and listen to your heart.

I too am aware of how fast children grow - my little ones seem to change right before my eyes. In church this morning I took stock of the blessings & joys in my life.....2 of the biggest being my daughter & my son. We all need to remember to cherish our children.

And the joy of the home inspection business! I'm new to it & enjoying all I have to learn & share. I'm looking forward to the new year...and all the great new clients & homes I will get to inspect.

I'm determined to keep my faith & my hope in the right place...and keep things moving forward in 2007. Happy New Year!!
