I was approached by Broadview today with this offer:

Free 90 warranty for clients offered by Residential Warranty Service (RWS).

Catch?

You provide your clients info. to Broadview and they call them once, about 30 days following the inspection to see if the client would like a visit by an alarm technician to discuss a system. If the client currently has a system installed, a local Broadview tech visits the house during the inspection and spends 15 mins looking the system over. Again about 30 days following the inspection Broadview would contact the client about upgrading the system or discuss getting monitoring service through Broadview.

Only one phone call. If the clients says no, that's it. No more contact. You must put a disclosure statement in your PIA.

Broadview is now ADT. The previous Broadview progam is still in effect, but just a new agreement to be signed. So far so good in regards to being seamless.

I do not share my client information with anyone. Never have, never will...even for $25. Before Brinks became Broadview became ADT, I had an agreement that I would provide my client with a link to their offer and the client would contact them if so inclined. I received no kick-back or referral fee. ADT will not allow that procedure. BTW, they leave up to 3 telephone messages hoping the client will them call back.
