From the CMI Homepage

Quote:
The Master Inspector Certification Board, Inc. is not a trade association and the Certified Master Inspector® is not a membership level. Certified Master Inspector® is a professional designation available to all qualifying inspectors who wish to Board Certified™.
As stated it is a designation available to all qualifying inspectors

Well since CMI is opened to any and all that can qualify and pay the entry price, just where exactly should all of the CMI updates, news flashes and press releases be posted. I dont see ASHI and NAHI giving Nick access to post on there sites. So it either will have to stay here, in the open section OR if its moved to the members only area then all CMI's regardless of association will have to be given Nachi member status to be able to read and post.
The next alternative is to have a separate BB so that all of the new CMI's can get together and communicate, tell one another how great life is, how they wear their new badges, how to market, the effect on their business, etc.etc.
So, if Nick doesnt establish separate quarters for them, expect to see them here. With that in mind, watch your P's & Q's, its open to all. In all actuality it would be interesting to see just how strong and accepted by other inspectors outside of Nachi, CMI will be?

I would like to see a CMI ONLY BB on the CMI site.

Can this be done with the $$ on the plate or can we rent a little bandwidth from NACHI or one of the schools that is teaching new CMI classes.

As a side note - looks like the schools are going to have to teach more hrs

I think Nick just shot the $500 CMI school programs in the *****
