Default Any cigarette smokers or ex smokers out there ?

I am looking into a new alternative to quit and have found a new class of cigarettes that may satisfy that oral craving while help eliminate the huffing and puffing when I run up to the 4th floor.
They are called electronic cigarettes and I am wondering if anybody tried them?

Anyway this sounds like a good way to keep enjoying a smoke while decreasing risk.

I went from 2 1/2 packs a day to ZERO!

All I did was makeup-my-mind to quit!

All responses relate to quitting nicotine. It doesn't appear that Bob is looking to quit.

I haven't tried the product, Bob.

Bob,
You have an oral fixation. Find a close man friend that is willing to help keep your mouth occupied.:twisted :

If you make up your mind to do so, you will quit. If you don't make up your mind, none of those gimmiks will help.

Quitting is the easy part. Not-picking-up-again is where the difficulty comes in.

Linus your a sick sick man.

With these E-cigs it is legal to smoke in a bar or restaurant.

By the way nothing worse than ex smokers.
Reminds me of Linda Lovelace joining the Women s Temperance League.

For example it is just as bad when HI's get 500 Inspections under their belt and proclaim anyone with less is not as good.

Back to the product it is just pure nicotine and has none of the other 2,000 chemicals they put in those cancer sticks.

It sprays a pure aerosol of nicotine into your mouth as it vaporizes it with heat.

The smoke is actually just condensation and makes it safe to those around though it looks and feels like a cigarette.

Amazing that the Government may ban them.(Guess it will hurt all their plans for taxation)

I have tried to outright quit many times and yes tried everything else including climbing a large Mountain in Tibet to see the great Guru.....ok, just kidding on that last part.

Ain't that the truth.. I went to zero in a day too in 1988, still get a craving now and then. I know if I pick up just one I'll be back at it. Addictive *****, and the money just keeps rolling in for the to the
tobacco companies. I wonder how much was paid in bonus to those executives, health care issue also. One group that won’t ask for a bail out but their corporate tax should go to 90% to pay for the health care their product causes. Then the greedy b*stards should all choke.

Yeah, that guy you voted for, who said he would not increase taxes, just raised Cigarette tax $1 a pack, just wait until he charges his Carbon tax on them!

The patches work well to keep the nicotine withdrawals in check, however, it will take your will power to quit smoking.

Not trying to quit.
Just ordered them and will let you guys know if they are any good.
The FDA already wants to confiscate them and The Chicago Trib just did a story on them for Sundays on page 13.
Glad I got my order in and for all you Holy Rollers that want to tell me what I can do you can picture my thumb on my nose and my other hand giving you a one finger salute.

Our freedom is disappearing for the good of the over 50% groups that dis -agree on anything the under 49% want to do.

This has nothing to do with Obama as it started under your Republican G-D called Regan.

Its for the kids.
