I am talking loss of personal rights my friend.
When a Government can confiscate and sell at auction your personal items with no conviction such as instituted under Regan/Bush that is a problem under a land claiming to be inhabited by the free.

I am against government imposed anti smoking laws even though I enjoy smoke free restaurants.

It should remain the right of the business owner to decide, period.

and it was not my Uncle, and I smoke cigarettes only, though I have tried the other kind much as most all those anywhere near my age have unless of course they lie about it.

Personally I think it should be legal along with anything else an adult wishes to do as long as they are not driving.

If I can enjoy a good smoke that is safer than the arsenic and carbon monoxide filled poison that the government so happily taxes , then I am all for it.

Actually my remarks fit right in as all the little whiners that give a fake cough upon seeing smoke drive me nuts.

As Mike said ,it should be up to the business and until the whiners got their way, the owners determined there was no issue.

I use toi think that way too, until I quit for a few weeks, cigarette smoke stinks like he!! to a non smoker and why should they have to put up with it? They do have rights also, however, I think there should be a smoking section in all public places, it is unfair to make smokers stands outside in the rain and cold! If anybodies uncle joe, lost their boat because one pot seed was found between the cushion, it was not because of the law, it was because of abuse of the law! Geez Bob, when that Comet hit Jupiter...was it Reagans or Bush's fault??? BTW...maybe you should have inhaled!
