I decided to get rid of those cancer sticks years ago (used the nicotine patches). I'm very happy and healthy right now and wouldn't even think of picking them up again.

The wheezing (at night) and my young kids (needing a Dad for a long time) was the choice maker for me.

Did this conversation go from smoking cigs to smoking something else somewhere along the line? My personal opinion would be to quit both because one will kill you and the other will make for conversations that go from one extreme to the other. Like this very interesting thread, for example.

Seriously, all I can say is you can do it Bob if you put your mind to it. I know it won't be easy. I am sure you have done harder things in your life.

This post is about if you tried the above and not about someone trying to share their 'I am great for quitting soapbox'

I happen to enjoy a good cigarette.

If this one is fairly safe it may be a good choice.From what I am reading so far the users are getting health benefits which the Government will not like.

These are legal to smoke anywhere you like,so I wonder if you guys would be bothered if I smoked one in front of you on an airplane.

I would not mind you smoking next to me in an airplane as long as it don't smell like cigarette smoke.

But I would survive I'm sure! So smoke em if ya got em!


Besides, I don't want to be next to someone on a plane having a nicotine fit. Could get dangerous!

Hey, I just started using an electronic cigarrette the other day, it actually works well, in three days i have cut my smoking from two packs a day to about six cigarettes a day and hope to be down to none in the next few days. They are not legally marketed as a smoking cessation product in the US as they have not gone through the years of approval, but for me it seems to be working.

Well, there you have it Bob, if you enjoy smoking don't use this as it seems to work to reduce the amount you smoke.

Which brand are you using Mike?

I ordered Terribly Wicked so I can drip the filters with any flavor including zero nicotine if I so choose.

Does it draw like a normal cig? and I just hope my order goes out before the feds stop it.

I hear lots of suppliers are sold out because of demand.
